I know I’ve been a bit light-on with my postings lately, I’ve been struggling with what to say. What with Sean reporting on the Mercy Ministries debacle, The Frame Problem reporting on the Church of Scientology (CoS), and Pharyngula, plus many others, reporting on the ‘Expelled from Expelled’ debacle, I feel like I haven’t been left with much to talk about. There has been some interesting talk on the impending Catholic World Youth Day, newmatilda.com had an interesting article on the, now, $150 million it’s costing US for this event. I was going to comment on that article, but after reading some of the other comments from the religious apologetics, I just gave up.
Which leads me to the topic I’ve been working on, currently with a working title of: Disheartened by the Deluded, keep your eyes out for it.
and on a lighter note; Sammy over at memeplex has taken some time out from holidaying in France and reporting on ‘Expelled’ to produce some more lyrics in graphical format. The Michael Jackson one is a bit naughty, but I like this Meat Loaf one:

Yeah, the idea of a government heavily subsidising a religious event like that is more than a tad unsettling.

I’m thinking of doing one entitled “Exhausted and Discouraged by the Deluded”, because of how exhausting and apparently hopeless it is to argue with them when, in most cases it seems that nothing short of God coming down himself and saying “I don’t exist” would make them doubt their belief.
